Old Town - One man is dead after an early morning accident in Old Town on Sunday.

Old Town Police say Jonathan Worster, 23, of Carmel was driving his Dodge Caliber on Main Street when he struck a utility pole at 4:52 Sunday morning. The car rolled over and he was ejected.

The driver was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

There were three passengers in the car at the time of the accident.

A 21-year-old Brewer man was trapped and had to be extricated by the Old Town Fire Department, he is now in critical condition.

A 24-year-old woman and 21-year-old male from Old Town were found outside of the car and are being treated for injuries.

Old Town and Maine State police are reconstructing the accident. They say speed appears to be a factor, but the investigation continues.
