Many people in the Bangor area may have roses in a vase this weekend.
Fredrick's Flower Fairy on Hammond street celebrated it's 100th day in business by giving back to the community. The florist is giving away 100 dozen roses for free.
The owner says it's a way to say "thank you" to the people who have visited over the past 3 months and to bring attention to her business.
Owner Nicole Fredrick said "We love it, it's great. Hammond Street is a busy street and there's lots of new businesses around our area."
The flower shop is also giving back to the community in another way.
They'll be selling center pieces for $20. All of the proceeds will go to the Breaking Bread Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry.
