Brewer -
The Salvation Army is collecting donations for the holiday season.
Fill the Truck took place in the Brewer and Bangor Walmart parking lots on Saturday.
Volunteers are hoping to fill the Emergency Services truck with coats, toys, and other donations.
The reason behind this charity is simple.
"Well, there's a lot of needy families in this area and we try to help out the best we can," said volunteer Kevin Carman.
If you weren't able to make it to this event, the Angel Tree in the Bangor Mall is also accepting donations.
If you'd like to volunteer, contact the Salvation Army at 941-2990.
