Windsor -
State police say an elderly Coopers Mills woman died Wednesday afternoon after her car crossed the center line and collided with a second vehicle in Windsor.
Helen Hinckley, 76, struck a car being driven by Rita Cushman, 66, of Livermore falls near Peasley's Store on Rte 17.
Police say Cushman was seriously injured and taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Hinckley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating and believe Hinckley may have suffered a medical issue prior to the crash.
The busy road was closed for over two hours while authorities cleaned up the scene.
