The holidays are inching closer and for those who want to save some time and money, there's an app for that.
US Cellular mobile company says there are dozens of smartphone apps to help make the holiday season easier.
There are apps for traveling, shopping and even baking. Popular applications in the Google Play store include Gas Buddy, Your Navigation, and Flight Tracker.
US Cellular Area Sales Manager Jason Shank says one in four purchases this year will be made using a smartphone or tablet.
Apps like Google Shopper not only helps you find the product your looking for, it also helps you find the best deal. Shank said "With that Google Shopper you'll be able to see if it's a certain store, if it's a big box store or a local store where you want to shop and you'll be able to see and find the best prices."
The Sales manager says one of his favorite apps is Just Wink. This app allows you to send digital Christmas cards, so you can be sure family and friends will get it before the holidays.
And if you don't have a smartphone, Shank says some of the hottest sellers for the holiday season are the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
