Bangor -
A Brewer man is going to jail for 2 1/2 years for robbing a pharmacy in Bangor.
John Campbell, 35, pleaded guilty Thursday to robbing the Hannaford pharmacy on Union Street in September.
Campbell was also charged with robbing the Rite Aid on Wilson Street in Brewer that same day.
As part of a plea deal, Campbell was sentenced to 6 years in prison with all but 30 months suspended, and the Rite Aid robbery charge was dismissed.
Campbell left the state after the robberies and was arrested in October when he returned to Maine on a bus.
