It's the season of giving and one library is asking you give back to the community.
The Ellsworth Public Library has posted a "Wish Upon a Star" board. It's a "wish list" of what their employees hope to see in the library collection for 2013.
The items range from adult, teen and children novels..They've also included some DVD's and picture books on the list.
The Library Director, Charlene Churchill said you can turn a donation into a gift by dedicating a book to a family member. "Sometimes there's somebody on our holiday list who doesn't really need anything and this is a great way to honor them," said the Director.
The main goal of the program is to keep the library collection new and for people to continue reading.
The program runs through December 31st.
