Corinna -
A man from Corinna is going to jail for three months for assaulting an officer.
29-year-old Ernest Carrow pleaded guilty Tuesday.
The Penobscot County District Attorney's office says a trooper was called to Corinna in June by Carrow's girlfriend.
Carrow was trying to go after his girlfriend and as the trooper stepped in between them, Carrow hit him.
Carrow was also sentenced to two years of probation once he's out of jail.
