The Hammond Street Senior Center in Bangor is busting at the seams with baskets. The 242 gift baskets up for bid fill up almost every nook and cranny in the center.
The annual "It's A Basket Case" silent auction began on Monday.
Each basket is centered around a different theme and was hand-assembled by the senior center's members and staff.
"It's an eclectic collection of various items. There's antiques, there's antique books, from books to music to goodies. We have a five pound Hershey candy bar. So there is seriously something for everyone," explained Kathy Bernier, Executive Director at the Hammond Street Senior Center.
The silent auction runs all week long and ends on Friday at 1:00 PM. You can go make a bid in person during the senior center's hours of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The center will be open to bidders until 7:00 PM on Thursday.

All of the money raised will go directly back to the senior center's operations and programs.
