A local toy store took advantage of Small Business Saturday and the season of giving.
Union River Book and Toy Company in Ellsworth hosted Toys for Tots and Santa Claus on Saturday.
The store offered a discount for customers who donated a toy. The owner says it's a win-win for both customers and those in need.
Owner of the book and toy store, Michael Curtis said "We thought if we could give a 20% discount this time of year would save people some money and encourage them to give back their savings."
The owner said he plans to make this an annual holiday event.
