How about a whale!
The college of the Atlantic's Allied Whale program wants you to adopt a whale this holiday.
Over the summer, scientists from the college in Bar Harbor discovered "Gemini" blowing a huge bubble cloud that allowed it to devour its food more easily.
Now they want you to adopt "Gemini".
He probably wont fit under your tree, but for thirty-dollars you can make him your own, complete with a photo and life history.
For ten dollars more, you can adopt a mother whale and calf.
The proceeds benefit whale conservation efforts.
