Thomaston Man Charged with Selling Bath Salts

Thomaston - A Thomaston man is charged with selling the synthetic hallucinogenic drug, bath salts.

Drug agents raided the house of David Reckards, 42, on Tuesday afternoon. Agents reportedly seized about $10,000 worth of bath salts, along with packaging material, scales, needles, and drug paraphernalia.

Agents say they had received complaints about a large number of cars coming and going from Reckard's house throughout the day and night.

In March, Reckards was convicted of possessing bath salts.

Two other people were also arrested at Reckard's house. Walter Brochu, 32, of Thomaston, and Amanda French, 25, of Rockland are both charged with violating probation from previous drug related convictions.
