A group of local women will be walking to fight breast cancer next year.
Their team name? The Holy Walkamoles!
They're participating in the Avon Walk for breast cancer, a 39-mile walk through Boston that will take place in May 2013.
A craft fair and vendor expo was held on Saturday to raise money for the cause.
The girls are getting a head start on fundraising since they've pledged to make over $16,000.
Captain of the walking group, Mandie Sawyer said "We spend all year talking about it, working really hard to spread the word about the walk, about our team and why we're walking. It's important to all of us."
They also raised money this weekend at a benefit at the Phoenix Pub. If you want to help, be sure to "like" the Holy Walkamoles on Facebook.
