Bangor -
During WABI's Friday evening newscasts, the staff participated in the annual Turkey Telethon to help feed hungry families in the area.
Through the generosity of viewers, 2,209 turkeys were collected.
Those donations will go towards Manna Ministries.
They support less fortunate families in our area.
This year they've had 6,700 requests for turkeys.
Manna says even though times are tough, a warm Thanksgiving dinner can make everything seem alright.
