A woman involved in a deadly car accident in prospect last Thursday night thought she may have lost her dog forever.
Susan Johnson says her black lab Molly was riding in the jeep when it was struck head-on.
The driver of the other car was killed.
Johnson says while emergency crews pried the door off her vehicle, the dog took off.
On Friday, the family received a phone call from the Family Country Market in Frankfort, saying they had located the dog.
It was hiding behind a mobile home only about a 100 yards from the site of the accident.
The family says its been a difficult week but they are so glad to have their 4-year-old black lab back at home.
