OWLS HEAD, Maine (AP) - The Knox County Sheriff says two people have died in small plane crash near the Knox County Regional Airport in Owls Head.
Emergency workers are on the scene of the crash.
Sheriff Donna Dennison said Friday evening that two people were killed, and that officials are checking the woods to see if there is a third victim.
She said the plane went down in woods on the Dublin Road side of the airport. Further details were not immediately available.
