Police say the man found dead inside an apartment on Bolling Drive in Bangor on Tuesday killed himself.
The medical examiner has determined the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Bangor police say a woman told them she and her son ran out of the apartment Tuesday afternoon when a man brandished a gun during an argument.
The woman told police she heard a gunshot when she was running away.
The Bangor Police Special Response Team responded, sending a robot into the building to get a closer look at the area.
When police went inside, they found the man dead in a bedroom.
