Etna Man Injured in a Commercial Truck Rollover

New Canada - One man is in the hospital after a commercial truck crashed in New Canada.

Maine State Police say Timothy Mitchell, 26, from Corinth and Jason Harris, 25, of Etna were traveling northbound on route 161 at 10:55 Tuesday night.

Officials say Mitchell lost control of the silver 1-ton truck, crossed the centerline and rolled over down a steep embankment.

Police found Harris trapped in the passenger seat. The Fort Kent Fire department removed him from the truck and he was taken by LifeFlight Helicopter to Northern Maine Medical where he is in critical, but stable condition. Mitchell walked away from the accident.

Authorities said there was ice on the road at the time of the crash.
