Bucksport - The Maine State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating what sparked a morning fire in Bucksport, destroying a house.

It happened around 4:30 Monday morning on Bucksmills Road.

Firefighters tell TV 5 the family members were able to get out of the burning house safely.

We're told the family's dogs were barking, and that's what alerted the family to the fire.

We'll bring you more information when we have it.
