Augusta -
The 14th Annual Kibbles n' Bids auction was held on Sunday.
The event is the Kennebec Valley Humane Society's largest fundraiser of the year. Items up for auction included heating oil and vacation packages.
Employees said the auction is a great way to get pets into new homes.
Executive Director of the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, Hillary Roberts said "The money that people are spending today are helping our animals get in, get healthy, get spayed and give them a second chance for a wonderful home in our community."
Organizers said they hope to raise over $20,000. If you would like to donate, you can visit PetHavenLane.org.
