Winter sports enthusiasts are getting an early start to their season.
Skiers are strapping on their skis at a dozen trails on some Maine Mountains.
Trails are open at the Sunday River ski resort in Newry and Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley has three open trails.
Sunday River will have 6 trails open on November 12th. Sugarloaf will be closed Monday. They plan to add some additional snow throughout the week and reopen on Friday.
