Mt. Blue Football Defeats Waterville To Win Eastern Maine Class B Title

Farmington - The top seeded Mt. Blue Cougars hosting Waterville in the Class B regional final.

The Cougars are known for their passing attack, but it was the ground game that got them on the board early. Already up 7-0, it's Jordan Whitney
who trots his way 23 yards to the house, making it 14-0 Mt. Blue. The fans packing Kemp Field tonight and they were pumped up!

But a couple of first half turnovers giving the Purple Panthers some life. The ball gets knocked away from Whitney and it's Nick Danner who recovers it for Waterville. An interception would also help cut the halftime deficit to 21-14.

But this night turning into the Chad Luker show. The big Mt. Blue back with four touchdowns in the game to help the Cougars win the Eastern Maine Class B title for the first time since 2005. Mt. Blue wins, 42-14 the final.
