Living in a hobbit house paid off for a local radio host.
Pulse radio's Pat Lamarche collected nearly $4,000 in donations.
The money will go toward winterizing homes for people who qualify for LIHEAP.
This is the second year Pat has done this for "help keep me warm."
It’s an example of how a lot of little things can add up to accomplish big things. She says most of the donations she got this year were less than $20.
