Abby Freethy from Northwoods Gourmet Girl, was in our studio recent to tell us about her new facility that she is current in the process of building in Greenville, and to cook up some dishes using some of her products.
Abby also brought with her Shane McCarthy from State Street Wine Cellar in Bangor, to tell us about what kinds of wines would go best with the dessert and duck dish that Abby had prepared.

Abby will also be at the Maine Harvest Festival, which is being held at the Bangor Auditorium & Civic Center. The festival will be Saturday, November 10th and Sunday November 11th from 10 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
The harvest festival will be featuring many vendors of Maine made and Maine produced products. There will also be demonstrations by Maine chefs and cookbook authors.
