Raye Greets Voters in Bangor on Election Day

3

Bangor - The Republican candidate in Maine's Second District Congressional race was in Bangor on Election Day.

Kevin Raye was shaking hands with folks as they entered the Bangor Auditorium to vote. He said he's visited 11 counties in the past four days talking to as many voters as he can in the Second Congressional District.

On Tuesday morning, Raye said, "I'm very encouraged by the turnout. I'm encouraged by the excellent response that I'm gettting here and optimistic about the outcome. I'll be glad when the polls are closed and we know the results."

Raye will stay in Bangor to watch those results come in.
