Bangor, Hermon -
No charges will be filed in a car crash in Hermon that killed an 83-year-old woman.
Mary Savage of Bangor was one of four people taken to the hospital after three cars collided on Union Street in August.
The medical examiner says Savage died from a spinal fracture and a head injury two days later.
Savage was a passenger in her daughter's vehicle.
Police say their car was rear-ended by a truck driven by 21-year-old Nicholas Mitchell of Levant.
The impact sent the Savage's car into the oncoming lane where it was struck by another truck.
Penobscot County Chief Deputy Troy Morton says the District Attorney's Office reviewed the case and found no crime was committed.
