Lincolnville, Rockland -
A 17-year-old boy from Lincolnville is accused of robbing a cab driver in Rockland at knife point.
Police say the boy and two underage girls were taking the cab from Waldoboro to James Street in Rockland.
Just after midnight Thursday, when the ride was over, the boy reportedly pulled out a knife, threatened the driver and demanded money.
He turned it over and the trio took off.
Police arrested the boy at a home on Camden Street about 2 a.m. Thursday.
He's charged with robbery and violating his probation and was taken to a youth detention facility.
Police say the two girls were released.

In Sierra Buttes, Calif., two boys hiked up a jagged cliff and ended up stranded 8,000 feet up. The California Highway Patrol sent a chopper and had to lower a harness to carry them to safety, since climbing down was not an option. Scott Pelley reports.
