Early investigation shows that Loisel's vehicle went over a hill at a high speed, entered into the right hand dirt shoulder, and then the vehicle darted across the oncoming lane and hitting a taxi head on.

Both Loisel and Ferland were pronounced dead on scene.

This is a reminder as to why young drivers should not have another person in the car. I could have been anyone's kids. My heart breaks for all the families involved.
