Father Adam Metropoulos from the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church was in to tell us about the 5th Annual Dancing With the Greeks. That will be taking place on Saturday November 3rd, 2012 at the Wellman Commons at 300 Union St. in Bangor.
The dance will be taking place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. There will be Greek appetizers and desserts, beer and wine, and music by Jim Karvelas.
Tickets can be bought in advance at Angelo's Pizzeria on Hammond St. in Bangor and Captain Nick's Restaurant on Union St. in Bangor. The tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. $10 for kids 17 and under and they must be accompanied by an adult.
There is one free dance lesson still available for the public on Thursday, November 1st, 2012. That is being held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church at 90 Sanford Street Bangor.
