Bangor -
The president of Maine's League of Women Voters spoke in Bangor Tuesday.
Barbara McDade met with voters at the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine.
Her talk is the 6th of the "Take Back Democracy Brown Bag Luncheon Series."
The series seeks to help voters see through campaign advertising and focus on real issues.
She says her goal is simple, "we just need to inform people and make them comfortable voting because its their right, its their privilege, and I think its their duty."
Next Tuesday is the final brown bag luncheon.
They will discuss voter guides and post-election strategies for movement building.
