Authorities Release Names of Lamoine Shooting Victims, Shooter Also Dead

Police: Lamoine Man Kills Dad and Uncle

Lamoine - Three men are dead after a shooting in Lamoine early Tuesday morning.

State police say 50-year-old Robert Tilden and 50-year-old Russell Pinkham were shot and killed. Reports began coming in around 3:45 AM.

The shooter, 27-year-old Leon Tilden, is also dead. He was shot by Detective Randall Keaton late in the morning and later died at Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Police don't know why Leon Tilden killed his father and his uncle.

The Attorney General's office is investigating the use of deadly force by police in this case.
