It's been nearly three months since the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kennebec Valley announced it was closing.
Today some good news for kids in that area.
The Midcoast chapter of the organization announced it's stepping up to cover the area.
The program provides mentors to kids ages five to fourteen.
