Milo -
A former Milo town manager who admitted stealing 45 thousand dollars from the Kiwanis Club is being sentenced Tuesday.
57 year-old Jeff Gahagan was Treasurer of Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo and Brownville.
In August he pleaded guilty to theft.
The prosecution says much of the money he took went towards his family but 16 thousand dollars was spent at Bangor's casino.
He has repaid the money but could be looking at another six thousand dollars in restitution.
The Bangor District Attorney's office has recommended a nine month sentence to keep him in a county jail.
