The Colby football team still searching for its first win of the season
against Hamilton today.
They had to search through a rainy day, and they went down 26-7 early in the 2nd quarter. But some nice plays on the ground from freshman Tom Brewster helps kickstart the Mule offense. A 30-yard gain there.
But the early trouble for Colby was turnovers. Justin Ciero's pass is tipped and then picked off by Hamilton's Dan Peters. The Continentals take over again.
But a resilient Colby squad would only allow three more points in the game. Late in the first half, it's Ciero who takes it himself into the end zone for the score. The Mules sprint all the way back and win their first game of the season, 32-29 the final.
