St. Lawrence Sweeps Weekend Series With UMaine Hockey

Orono - The Black Bears losing 5-0 last night, so they were trying to quickly put it behind them.

But even though it was a new night, it was mostly the same results for UMaine. First period and Greg Carey gets the scoring going for the Saints
just over seven minutes into the game. St. Lawrence would go up 3-0 after two periods.

The weekend scoring drought for the Black Bears
lasting into the third period. But that's when, finally, UMaine gets on the board. Mark Nemec notches his first goal of the season with a blast from up top, making it 3-1.

But mid 3rd, Kyle Flanagan with one of his two goals on the night, this one the backbreaker. UMaine falls to 1-4 on the season, losing tonight, 5-1 to St. Lawrence.
