If you want to vote absentee in this election, there's a new deadline for requesting your ballot this year.
You have until the end of the business day on Thursday, November 1 to request a ballot from your town office or city hall.
Bangor City Clerk Lisa Goodwin says it's an easy process and one that plenty of voters have opted for.
"Historically in Bangor a lot of people vote absentee. The last presidential election they issued 8,500 absentee ballots, which we're anticipating the same thing. So far right now we've issued a little over 2,600," said Goodwin.
Absentee ballots can be returned up until 8:00 PM on election night.
