Flags at Half Staff in Memory of U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter

Flags will be at half staff in Maine and around the nation Tuesday, to honor the memory of longtime U.S. Senator Arlen Specter.

The Senator from Pennsylvania passed away Sunday at the age of 82.

A funeral and buriel service will take place Tuesday.

In accordance with a Presidential proclamation, Governor LePage has ordered all U.S. and state of Maine flags to be flown at half staff from midnight to sunset Tuesday.
