"Mall-oween" Plans At Bangor Mall

The Bangor Mall is doing things a bit differently this year to celebrate Halloween.
On Saturday, October 27th, the folks at the mall will host 'Mall-oween.'
Kids ages three to eight can come dressed up for the event which starts at ten that morning.
Stores will hand out candy throughout the mall.
"In the past, there's been a distribution if you will, or candy given out in Halloween," said James Gerety, General Manager of the Bangor Mall. "We are not doing that this year, the Malloween event is where we're focusing our attention and asking our kids to come in and join us. So, there won't be a mall wide trick or treat event on the evening, on Halloween evening, but we will have Malloween on Saturday the 27th."
There will also be costume contests and prizes throughout the day.
