2nd Appeal to Block Release of Prostitution Client List Denied

Portland - A judge has denied a second appeal to block the client list in the Kennebunk prostitution investigation.

An attorney for one of the two people at the center of the Kennebunk prostitution case said lawyers for some of the suspected johns filed an injunction late Thursday. But Judge Andre Janelle denied that request.

Once that request was denied, a second appeal was filed, and on Friday afternoon Janelle denied that request as well.

Mark Strong and Alexis Wright are accused of running a prostitution business out of a building in Kennebunk and secretly recording the encounters.

On Tuesday, both Strong and Wright pleaded not guilty to dozens of charges in the case.

Kennebunk police said names could be released as early as Friday when it publishes its weekly police blotter.
