Warden Service Offering a Reward for Information on Illegal Hunting

Ripley - The Maine Warden Service is looking for a suspect after three deer and a lamb were found dead in Ripley.

Maine Operation Game Thief Board of Directors has authorized a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The Warden's Service says two does and a lamb were night hunted, shot, and left in a field. They believe another deer was shot and taken between October 5th and 6th.

Wardens are asking the public to report suspicious activity, such as shots fired at night.
