Folks in Ellsworth are coming together this weekend to help their neighbors cover the cost of keeping warm this winter.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Ellsworth is hosting a benefit dinner and auction.
The money raised will support the Washington Hancock Community Agency's Heating and Warmth Fund, better known as the THAW fund.
The benefit is Saturday, October 13th at the church at 12 Bucksport Road.
The dinner and silent auction starts at 5 p.m. The live auction starts at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are a suggested donation of $10. For more information and to buy tickets, you can call the church at 667-4393.
