Bangor -
A man accused of robbing a Bangor pharmacy made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
Police say John Harmon Jr., 27, of Dover-Foxcroft robbed the Rite Aid at Union and 14th Streets in Bangor around 5:00 Monday night. He was arrested about an hour later at the Bangor Efficiency Apartments on Hammond St.
Court documents say he confessed during a police interview to robbing the pharmacy to settle a drug debt.
The judge set bail at $50,000.
