A Brewer man accused of robbing two pharmacies in less than two hours made his first appearance in court on Tuesday afternoon.
35-year-old John Campbell is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of theft.
Police say on September 30 he robbed the Wilson Street Rite Aid in Brewer around 3:45 PM, then at 5 o'clock he robbed the Union Street Hannaford pharmacy in Bangor.
We're told he was later pulled over in New Jersey for a license violation, and was driving a stolen vehicle.
His bail was set at $3,000.
