No Cause Found in Hulls Cove Fire
Hulls Cove -
Fire crews were called out to a home construction company in Hulls Cove in Bar Harbor a little after 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Flames reportedly broke out inside a two story wood working shop at R.L. White and Sons on Lumber lane.
Firefighters from four towns are on scene.
A building that was used to store equipment and materials was destroyed. No word yet on a cause, or what impact the fire will have on the business and their operation.
Crews on scene in the early morning said they expect to be working for most of the day.
"There's some lumber and there's a place in the back where they have some sawdust piled up, which is kind of being stubborn for us right now. We're still trying to get to that portion of the building to see if we can get that estinguished," said Bar Harbor Assistant Fire Chief Matt Bartlett.
We're told Bar Harbor Road, Route 3 will be closed until around noon. Traffic is being detoured around the area.
The state fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
