Lewiston -
A Bates College freshman has died after falling down a campus stairwell last week.
18 year-old Troy Pappas of Elliot died Friday night at Centeral Maine Medical Center.
He fell down a dorm stairwell last weekend and had been in critical condition ever since.
Pappas was a reciever for the school's football team.
Teammates held a moment of silence during their game against Williams College Saturday.
