Missing Hunter Found on Dirt Road

3

Houlton - After 24 hours, a missing elderly man has been found.

The Maine State Warden's Office said Ralph Bubar, 77, of Linneus was last seen in Houlton on Saturday afternoon.

The Warden Service says Bubar's son went looking for his father where he usually hunts. He found his dad's Ford Ranger, with the key in the cup holder, in Hammond Township.

The service says Marty Fitzpatrick found Bubar at the end of a dirt road, 1.5 miles away from where his truck was parked.

He was assisted out of the woods and taken to Houlton Regional Hospital.

It's unknown if he needed further treatment.
