Big Second Half Leads Foxcroft Football To Win Over John Bapst

3

Bangor - High school football tonight and a meeting of two 5-0's in Class C. The Foxcroft Ponies and the John Bapst Crusaders playing in the heavy rain.

1st quarter was a defensive struggle. 4th down for Foxcroft and Don Boyer is wrapped up and stopped by Charles Kindya to turn the ball over on downs.

So John Bapst takes over, and when you have rain, you usually have a slippery pigskin. The ball is fumbled by the Crusaders, recovered by the Ponies, giving Foxcroft great field position.

The Ponies charge their way into the end zone. Hunter Law goes the outside on the keeper and makes it to the promiseland. That made it 7-0 Ponies. A big 2nd half leading Foxcroft to a big 40-0 victory tonight over John Bapst.
