Police Find Nothing Related to Ayla Reynolds Case During Search

Waterville - A spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety says nothing relating to the Ayla Reynolds case was found during a search Friday.

Steve McCausland says police searched the river bank of the Messalonskee Stream Friday.

He says the owners of the dam lowered the water for routine maintenance, so detectives decided to search the area. We're told nothing connected to the case was found.

Ayla, 1, was reported missing on December 17th. Police do not believe she is alive.

No one has been charged in connection to her disappearance.
