Brockton, MA -
State prosecutors will have to get a Governor's Warrant to extradite Nicholas Sexton, 31, from Massachusetts to Maine. Sexton, who is one of two men charged in connection with a triple homicide in Bangor, is contesting the move.
He was arrested at a home in Brockton, MA early Thursday morning by a Massachusetts State Police tactical team.
During his court hearing, Sexton did not waive his right to extradition, which Maine Assistant Attorney General Lisa Marchese said would delay his arrival to the state.
He was ordered to be held without bail at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility in Massachusetts. Prosecutors said Sexton is facing a Fugitive from Justice charge in Massachusetts, and has a pre-trial conference scheduled for October 31.
The second man charged in this case, Randall "Money" Daluz, 34, pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder and one count of arson, Thursday morning.
Daluz was arrested in Massachusetts Tuesday afternoon and extradited to Maine Wednesday night.
