It's hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is just around the corner and a local program focused on providing Mainers with meals for the holiday is asking for your help.
The Solidarity Harvest program helps families that may be struggling by providing them with meal baskets on Thanksgiving.
So far this year, they have been promised one thousand turkeys from Manna and five thousand dollars from a Topsham law firm.
They're challenging other businesses to match that donation.
They are more than halfway to their goal of thirty thousand dollars, which has doubled from last year.
